BCN
Cleanup: 16-17 March 2002 The 2002 BCN Canal Cleanup (this really must be the ultimate "Dirty Weekend") was held on 16-17 March 2002 on the Walsall Canal. We completed the cleanup we started, but didn't finish, in 1996. As usual, British Waterways supported the weekend with work boats to put the rubbish in, plus a selection of grappling hooks and safety equipment. The weekend was a Great success with obscene amounts of rubbish collected. |
