Public Transport
The nearest train station is Byfleet & New Haw, 1 mile away - on Oyster Lane, on the far (north) side of the A245 - it is within walking distance but not a brilliant service. There are better train services at Weybridge and Woking, but you would need a lift to the hall. Please phone the leaders well in advance for collection (assuming you need a lift from train/coach stations).
By Road
From A3 from London to the A245 turnoff (probably
signposted to Cobham, Byfleet / West Byfleet and maybe
Woking).
Turn right at the roundabout, onto the A245 in the direction of Byfleet.
After about 1.5 to 2 miles there is a roundabout. Go straight on (well,
slightly left-ish actually), still following the A245 for Byfleet.
After about half a mile go straight on at another roundabout (mini-roundabout).
After a couple of hundred yards you get to another roundabout (with
A318 Addlestone signposted off to the right); turn LEFT here into
Oyster Lane.
After about 200 yards take first right turn (at mini-roundabout) into High Road.
Hall is on your left after 300 yards, just beyond Hopfield Avenue turning.
It has a sign outside it that makes it sound more like a civic
centre than a village hall, but don't worry - it's a village hall really!
Car parking is behind and to the left of the hall, as viewed from the road.
To find the 'Plough' pub, retrace your steps along High Road; it is on
your right.
From M25: Leave at J10. Take the A3 towards London for one junction - leave onto the A245 and follow the directions above.
