a mile after the dual carriageway ends, take a left turn on a corner. This is the A413 to Buckingham via Whittlebury and Akeley.

From M1 Junction 14
turn right on to A509 towards Newport Pagnell
turn left at the next roundabout on to the A422
follow this road back over the motorway
at the 8th roundabout, take the A5 northbound to Old Stratford
turn left onto the A422 at the roundabout with the Little Chef
carry straight on at the A422/A413 roundabout on the east edge of Buckingham, signposted for the town centre and Brackley
in the centre of Buckingham, turn right on to Moreton Road A413 by the Old Gaol
in Maids Moreton, where the main road bends sharply round to the left, turn right in to the main street
pass the Wheatsheaf pub after 100 yards on your left
village hall is on the right, soon after the pub
From the East, M1 Junction 13
take the A421 through Milton Keynes towards Buckingham
on reaching the Buckingham Ring Road, turn right at the roundabout, signposted Milton Keynes North and Northampton
straight on at the next roundabout, signposted Milton Keynes North and Northampton
turn left at the third roundabout, signposted Buckingham Town Centre and Brackley
in the centre of Buckingham, turn right on to Moreton Road A413 by the Old Gaol
in Maids Moreton, where the main road bends sharply round to the left, turn right in to the main street
pass the Wheatsheaf pub after 100 yards on your left

From the West, M40 Junction 11
take the A422 to the Brackley bypass
take the A43 northbound
turn right at the next junction back on to the A422
carry on on the A422 until you reach Buckingham
on reaching the town centre, turn left by the Old Gaol on to the A413 Moreton Road
in Maids Moreton, where the main road bends sharply round to the left, turn right in to the main street
pass the Wheatsheaf pub after 100 yards on your left

From the South, M40 Junction 9
take the A41 to Bicester
keep straight on at the Esso garage roundabout, to go through Bicester
take the right fork at a mini-roundabout to keep on the A421, signposted Buckingham
the road becomes part of the Buckingham ringroad
leave the A421 at the third roundabout on the ringroad, turning left on to the A413, signposted Milton Keynes North and Northampton
straight on at the next roundabout, signposted Milton Keynes North and Northampton
turn left at the third roundabout, signposted Buckingham Town Centre and Brackley
in the centre of Buckingham, turn right on to Moreton Road A413 by the Old Gaol
in Maids Moreton, where the main road bends sharply round to the left, turn right in to the main street

From Aylesbury
take the A413 through Winslow and Padbury
on reaching the Buckingham ring road, turn right on to it at the roundabout (A421)
leave the A421 at the next roundabout on the ringroad, turning left on to the A413, signposted Milton Keynes North and Northampton
straight on at the next roundabout, signposted Milton Keynes North and Northampton
turn left at the third roundabout, signposted Buckingham Town Centre and Brackley
in the centre of Buckingham, turn right on to Moreton Road A413 by the Old Gaol

By Public Transport
Milton Keynes and Bletchley both are on the Northampton - Birmingham line. Aylesbury, Banbury, and both of Bicester's two stations are also fairly close by, and served by a wide range of services. There are regular buses from Milton Keynes train and bus station to Buckingham. National Express services call frequently at Milton Keynes Coachway, by junction 14 of the M1.
