By Road
From the West (i.e. London side) of Tring leave
the A41 at the junction for the A4251 and the B4633, and take the B4633 London
Road for Tring. Once in the town turn right at the lights onto the B488 Brook
Street for Tring Wharf. About 1/2 mile on the right there is a pub (the New
Inn?) on the corner of the B488 and Grove Road. Turn right into Grove Road and
you will find the New Mill Scout Hut halfway up the hill on the right hand side
just before the 2nd street light after the garage – its well hidden behind a
hedge and parking is limited.
From the NW side of Tring turn left off the A41 at the roundabout junction of
the A4635 and B488 onto the B488 Icknefield Way. Follow this for a couple miles
as it skirts the edge of Tring until you get to a roundabout, turn right into
Brook Street. Grove Road is the next road off to the left.
