In this document, these definitions
shall apply:
"The Association" - The Inland
Waterways Association
"Notices" - Notices associated
with WRG Website Services
"Payments"
- Any payments made by You to Us via WRG Website Services
"Postings" - Information
placed on WRG Website Services by Users
"Unacceptable
Material" - Material that is
defamatory, obscene, inaccurate, misleading, abusive harassing or which
infringes the statutory or common law rights of any third party
"Users", "You",
"Your" - All users of WRG Website Services
"WRG", "We",
"Us" - Waterway Recovery Group
"WRG Website Services" - Websites, mailing lists and other electronic services that may be provided by WRG
Introduction
1. WRG is a division of Inland Waterways Enterprises Ltd – registered company no 4305322 – wholly owned by The Association, a registered charity.

3. These Notices are made in relation to WRG Website Services. The notices apply to all WRG Website Services under the control of WRG, whether administered directly by WRG or not.

These Notices apply to Users. The Notices
are a contract that sets
out Your rights and obligations and those of WRG in relation to WRG Website
Services. In using WRG Website Services, You agree to these Notices, and
you re-affirm that agreement every time you use WRG Website Services.
If these Notices change in any way, We will place an updated version on this
page. Please check this page regularly. Your continued use of WRG Website
Services after changes are posted constitutes Your acceptance of these Notices
as modified by the changes.

The provision of WRG Website Services and the application of these
Notices are governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts. If any part of these Notices is found to be
illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity and enforceability
of the remainder of the Notices.

Terms & Conditions
6. WRG Website Services contain links to other websites. These Notices apply only to WRG Website Services, so You should always be aware when You are moving to another site and read the relevant notices relating to that site. WRG is not responsible for the contents or reliability of the linked websites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. Linking from WRG Website Services shall not be taken as endorsement of any kind.
7. You will ensure (to the extent possible using virus and similar protection software available) that You do not introduce any viruses to WRG Website Services, corrupt any data on WRG Website Services or in any way have any adverse effect on WRG Website Services and/or the equipment on which they are contained and operated.
8. We do not control the content of any Postings. As such We do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of Postings. However, We hereby exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law any liability for Postings including but not limited to, liability for any errors or omissions in Postings, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Postings.
9. All intellectual property rights in the Postings that You make shall vest in You or Your licensors. With respect to all Postings You submit, You grant Us a world-wide, irrevocable, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, provide access to, transmit, publicly display and otherwise deal with (including sub-licensing others) Your Postings in any way that We see fit.
10. Any Postings You make shall comply and be provided in accordance with all applicable laws, enactments, orders, regulations, and other similar instruments. You shall not submit any Postings that contain, provide access to, or are in any way connected or linked to any Unacceptable Material.
11. You shall not use or attempt to use WRG Website Services for the sending of unsolicited bulk email, repeated unsolicited emails or for sending or posting of Unacceptable Material. If You see any material that You think is Unacceptable Material on WRG Website Services, then please contact Us. We will investigate and ensure that any material, which is in our view Unacceptable Material, is removed or annulled in good time.

We reserve the right to reject, edit or remove (or require You to edit or
remove) at any time any Postings as We see fit – including, but not limited
to, when We consider that Postings are Unacceptable Material.

WRG will endeavour to ensure that Payments are secure. No contract shall
exist between You and Us until we confirm such Payments with you in writing.
Indemnity
14.
You shall indemnify and hold Us harmless
against all and any losses, costs, damages, liabilities, claims, demands and
expenses (including legal fees) suffered or incurred by Us arising out of or
connected with:
a) Your use of WRG Website Services
b) Your breach of any part of these Notices
c) any Posting submitted by You including, without limitation any claims,
demands or actions arising from any infringement or alleged infringement of any
Intellectual Property Rights by the use, possession or other dealing with the
Posting.
Disclaimer
15. We may suspend or terminate WRG Website Services at any time without giving notice to You. We shall have no liability to You for any interruption, delay or failure in WRG Website Services irrespective of the cause.
16. We will endeavour to ensure that the material published on WRG Website Services is correct and up-to-date however no guarantee or warranty is expressed or implied as to the accuracy or validity of the material. Under no circumstances whatsoever are WRG or The Association, its employees, volunteers or its officers liable for any damages or losses of any kind arising out of the use of WRG Website Services or the information contained therein.
17. Provided We endeavour to ensure that material on WRG Website Services is free from viruses, We will not accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to Your data or Your computer system which may occur whilst using material derived or sent from WRG Website Services.
18. If You elect to register with WRG Website Services, You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any user name and password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under this user name and password. You shall notify Us immediately of any unauthorised use of Your user name and password. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Your failure to comply with this. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your registration at any time at our discretion.

20. Permission must be sought and obtained in writing from the WRG webmaster before copying, re-printing or republishing material from WRG Website Services for any purpose, and especially for public distribution by whatever means (including other non-WRG websites) unless the material and purpose is covered in one of the exceptions in paragraph 22 below.
21. "Material" includes any data obtained from WRG Website Services – including, but not limited to html documents, Word documents, PDF documents, Excel documents, photographs, graphics, logos, style sheets, scripts and databases.
22. Exceptions: PDF, html, Word and Excel documents available on WRG Website Services may be printed for personal or internal company, authority or other organisation use provided they remain intact and as published complete with all headers, footers and disclaimers (where appropriate).

23. The Association complies with data protection legislation such as the Data Protection Act 1998. This regulates the processing of information relating to You and grants You various rights in respect of Your personal data.
24. The aim of this statement is to inform You how We may use any personal data You provide through WRG Website Services. If You have any questions about this statement or Your personal information, please contact Us.
25. You do not have to give Us any personal information to use most of WRG Website Services.
26. WRG Website Services may use cookies for collecting user information. We will not collect any personal information about You except that required for system administration and personalisation features of WRG Website Services.
27. Except as set out in the following paragraph, We only collect Your personal data where You ask Us to provide You with information, subscriptions or bookings: otherwise Your information will not be shared with any organisations outside The Association and its subsidiary companies; it will be used only to provide You with e-mail or postal information on the topics You have requested. We may gather information from You to allow Us to personalise Your WRG Website Services experience and to send You information about The Association and WRG. If You use any online forums provided by WRG Website Services, in using them You give Us Your express permission to make Your email address available to other Users who may wish to contact You. In the particular case of canal camp bookings, We may make Your personal data available to the organisers of the camp that You are attending, and to other authorised WRG personnel.
28. We may use aggregated information for the purpose of tracking usage of the website and in order to help Us improve our website. We may pass this information to third parties. The aggregate information and statistics will not, however, include details that can be used to identify You.
29. If You wish to amend or update Your personal details, You may do so by using facilities made available by the WRG Website Services. Alternatively, You can contact Us and We will make the amendments for You. Please also contact Us if You wish to delete Your personal details from WRG Website Services.
